WAREHOUSE INSPECTION SOLUTION

Our client which builds and repairs storage systems turn to us to build a mobile app system. There is need to perform security evaluations of warehouse storage systems (defected shelves, etc.). The client needed an Android tablet app which would help inspectors with checking the warehouses. Inspector would check all the equipment within particular warehouse and then he would report security issue with help of tablet or phone.

The customer wanted to have an app for an Android tablet devices (7”+) and big smart phones (e.g. Samsung Galaxy Note). What we implemented Apro proposed and implemented a complete solution for the customer. The solution contains a back-end part (developed using ASP.NET and MS SQL technologies) which provides system management features:

manage users
inspections
discovered defects
generate reports for company management

User starts from the main screen where he can select inspection from the list of the existing inspections or create a new inspection. After that user can start (or continue) inspection: check warehouse, search for defects and add them into report (add photo, description, coordinates).

After inspection is finished whole inspection report (PDF) should be send to server where managers can do reports and communicate to their customers. Android application was developed to support online and offline modes.
